Your communication back and forth to the server ( iLookLocal.com) is encrypted when purchasing a Seller's account. Payments are done through PayPal. This ensures we that we don't store sensitive financial data. All other information is stored in a public format for all the world to see. This is by design since you actually want people to see your listing.

Your listing information is stored on our servers located in the United States. We treat data as an asset that must be protected and use lots of tools (encryption, passwords, physical security, etc.) to protect your personal information against unauthorized access and disclosure. However, as you probably know, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, and other users may abuse or misuse your personal information that they collect from the site. Therefore, we do not guarantee that your personal information or private communications will always remain private.
